Amsterdam Rock Exchange is a label, a production house, and a one-stop destination for rock and pop excellence. Its first release is “Rock Perfect”, an album of classic rock by an Anglo-Dutch supergroup featuring six celebrated musicians from the Netherlands and two members of Status Quo. It started when Dutch businessman and songwriter Richard Molenaar got together with his old friend record producer Evert Abbing to write some songs - just for fun. As the songs progressed they brought in another friend to help with the lyrics, British rock manager Simon Napier-Bell. And things just grew. Demos were made that became more than demos, with several top Dutch rock musicians playing on them. Then three more friends of Richard’s joined in, all of them current or ex members of Status Quo – Richie Malone, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and Paul Hirsh. Finally, it was decided to give all the tracks to British producer James Kenosha to turn into an album. And here it is – ‘Rock Perfect’ – a classic rock album by Amsterdam Rock Exchange.
